Oakland P.D just announced 80+ Layoffs for the City of Oakland. This city is really unsafe already. Now to report future crime you have to log the Oakland P.D. website with no guarantee response.
I would stay out of Oakland at Night... We need SUPER HEROS

Most other PD's have to contribute to their own pension. I agree though that the union's request to guarantee no additional layoffs was fair. A shame the public safety is going to be reduced. A even great crime is that officer safety is also going to be jeopardized. Hopefully, no officers will be injured or worse during this upcoming period with 80 less officers on the force.
