Every first Friday is my Upgrade party in Berkeley. Ostensibly, it’s some half thought-out concept about bringing a fresh approach to classics by mixing in newer styles etc., but really…..I just play what I want.

This week I’m very excited to have Vinylrichie from Sweater Funk spinning alongside me. If you’ve been to Sweater Funk, you know you can expect the usual Upgrade mixed bag to weigh a little heavier on the 80’s soul. If you know about Sweater Funk and haven’t been, you’re a fool.
