EIGHT BALL RECORDS - THE RISE AND FALL

DIDN'T FORGET ABOUT MY OLD SCHOOL DEEP HOUSE HEADS...

Eightball Records was a vinyl store started in the early 90's. Soon it launched the label that quickly generated alot of buzz around their releases from the likes of Joi Cardwell & Mood II Swing, pioneering the classic New York garage sound.
Around the end of the 90's it started to release more darker tribal house sound during the Tenaglia/Vasquez era that was going on and lost most of its profile as it was known for. Releases got more far in between and in 2003 the shop closed for good and took the label (and their sub-divisions) with them in the fall.
