RHYTHM PLATE

Its been a great month for music over at HEAR THE SOUND head Quaters. Emails have been flooding in with loads of new content. I was really excited once I got my hands on this edit.

Thanks to the FAM over Rhythm Plate for hooking up there Re-Edit of Mark Ronson's Bang Bang Bang. The original is dope, but this re-edit will get you on the dance floor faster then you can say BOOGIE-OGGIE-WOOGIE..

Kudos's to Mark Ronson for another catchy tune featuring featuring Spank which has a reminiscence of 90s hip hop drum break (Stetsonic style)along side the soothing UK soul vocals from from Kyle Folconer. Once again Ronson teams up with director Warren Fu to create a visual master piece.

Fact: Back in the 80s the was a movie called "The Dirt Bike Kid" which featured a young boy and his Motorcycle which mysteriously comes to life alive and the 2 form a long lasting friendship. I think Warren found some inspiration from this throw back flick.

The new video from Mark Ronsons release - BANG BANG BANG was produced by Warren Fu who did a fantastic job visually. I love the whole Voltron theme. The song takes me back to few music genres from decades ago with a modern twist. The vibe is definitely on some Go-Go, 80s Synth pop & New Wave. After a few listens I was hooked singing along. Now the song is stuck in my head.

Q-Tip Baby. Rumor has it - Since his studio burnt down awhile back he lost tons of records. I heard he's been stocking up on Modern Soul, Boogie and Steppers... "TIP" if you read this -Come play SWEATER FUNK
