411 ON FIRST TOUCH MUSIC:
All the way from Mannheim, Germany, DJ’s and production duo,Nanthara and Jelly, have been pumping out honest, solid productions and DJ sets for nearly a decade. Their infinite love for Disco and Funk and the late 1970’s “Disco Sucks” movement fueled their desire to produce an updated, groovy signature sound, which came about in the early 2000’s. The result of the former 'Highsteppin Records' collective was their first release in 2005, the 'We Move' EP, which offered a unique blend of Nu-Disco, Italo Disco and Deep House; the first taste of what’s to come from the pair. In 2009 they released their first self-titled debut LP, which caught worldwide attention from international fans, DJ’s and producers such as Kon & Amir, DJ Friction, Rosjow Kretschmann (Jazzanova) and even disco legend Tom Mouton.

Followed by several remixes and edits, an appearance on the ‘Mercedes Benz Mixed Tape’ compilation brought them additional attention in many other outlets. The pair also received First Prize at the ‘Sunburst Band Remix Contest’, chosen by Dave Lee (aka Joey Negro) and the Z Records team, for their uncompromising and authentic Boogieness. After a long break in music production and dedicating most of their efforts to DJing and clubbing, the two have major plans for a new release in 2013. Stay tuned!
