I LOVE MY NEIGHBORHOOD...
This weekend, Wing Wings and Rooky Ricardo’s are teaming up to bring something new to the neighborhood — a Sunday afternoon block party.
Expect the sidewalks of the 400 block of Haight to be lined with music, food, and art. We hear there may even be some live painting and barbecuing — details are still being worked out.
Plus, part of the festivities will be a neighborhood-wide sidewalk sale, à la the fire fundraiser held in October. Got something you’d like to peddle? Bring it on down. They’re hoping to make the block party an every-second-Sunday-of-the-month thing. So come on down, check it out, and let them know if you have any ideas for the future.
