I'm feeling this new joint "A Long Time" from Hair Cut (Mayor Hawthorne)... This track brings out that feel good vibe of late 70s Blue Eyed Soul (modern soul). We have a winner here!
Although I'm not a huge fan of the video direction (loved "The New Dance Show" - FYI), Hawthorne is probably paying tribute to his city, Detroit! Come on major label, backing up Mayor... Create a Official Video! I'm very curious to see the direction....
Happy he didn't use his falsetto voice - Non the less great track!
