Amazing new collection of photography by Barry Shapiro. These are killer. From 1972 to 1982, need I say more? Perfect decade. Amazing era for S.F.
Mostly shot in Hunter's Point and Fillmore area. I grew up in S.F., and as a kid this is what I remember. Not that I grew up in the Fillmore or H.P. but, the clothes, the cars, the streets, the people, it was the same everywhere. San Francisco has changed drastically and it's a trip to see how much it's changed some 25 plus years later. Check out 'A Dangerously Curious Eye' when you're sippin' and flippin' at the next Starbeezie or Barnes and knuckleheads.
