WE LOVE OUR RECORDS LIKE WE LOVE OUR FOOD

The Cafe Majestic alums take over Enrico's annex every Tuesday through Saturday to deliver some of the city's best lunch grub in a spot that pays homage to William S. Burroughs' novel and the North Beach Beat tradition.

The menu changes daily, but you can always order the house special: foie gras and duck prosciutto sandwich with tomato, butter lettuce and black truffle salt ($15). What makes this a bargain is what you get for your money.

However, if that's too rich for lunch, at least two other options await - Fulton Valley Farms fried chicken sandwich ($8) or the Sierra Beauty apple and chevre creation ($8).

Daily soups and salads are also offered, as well as an artisan drink like Meyer lemonade with cloves ($2). For dessert, ice creams and sorbets by Flash Freeze, a local outfit, are offered for $3.

Naked Lunch's small storefront holds just a few stools and counters, and the lines can be long. The best bet is to place your order, grab the number card and head over to Enrico's patio. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the warmth of the heat lamps while you wait.

Vitals: 504 Broadway, S.F. (415) 577-4951 or www.nakedlunchsf.com. Open 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tues.-Sat. Cash only (ATM located in store and across street). No reservations.
