1 of Slum Villages original members Baatin passed away today August 1, 2009 at 35 years young. Read more at [Detroit Free Press]. Baatin had been absent from the group for years and was slated to perfom on tour with the group starting this month. Personally I didn't like the group as much without Baatin, so I was looking forward to hearing the classics live (the way they made them). DAMN. RIP Baatin RIP Dilla
