Coming off as a hybrid between TLC and Prince’s legendary Vanity 6 - Electrik Red is a new girl group produced by The Dream (best known for a little song called “Umbrella”). While I don’t take trendy acts like this seriously, they can certainly provide a great tune or two during their (surely) brief run. I really enjoy this track and how the lead singer shares some vocal ticks with Kelis.
