DJ SMASH

Lucky for me DJ Smash lives in San Francisco and I get to see him play pretty regularly. DJ smash is DOWNTEMPO with numerous track on the FAT JAZZY GROOVES series. He'has countless 12" bangers that are pretty rare to find, but I've seen a few from time to time. I was lucky enough to meet him through a common friend Romonowski's as we both did remixes for his album. The Mushroom/acid jazz scene in San Francisco in the early 90's was unlike any other acid jazz scene. Last month I was lucky enough to catch a old school reunion party including Mark Farina, DJ Smash And Julius Papp playing all dance floor Downtempo. SHIT WAS OFF THE HOOK.
