A lotta hype around this cat around the time of his death but the real deal truth is he was one of the greatest musicians of our time. Before a lot of people were on his tip, both VinylRichie & I (beatnick) seeked out everyone of his recordings via LP, 12", CD Poster, Sticker etc & all related Detroit Musicians such as Dwele, DJ Dez, Moodymann, Proof. The new slum just ain't the old slum even if Dilla was around. For me Elzhi is good but it's not SLUM V. I still got all my SV white labels, Test Presses, Promo copies, Japan Exclusives etc.
