WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS

UK Graffiti is taking it back to the 80's when you could paint trains and watch them run down your favorite line. This video proves that graffiti is Better, Strong Faster around the globe. Watch the COP stroll right by these kids in action. I love the double fisted fat cap fill ins.

DID RZA CREATE THE DIGITAL DJ SYSTEM????

I Fucken love Wu Tang. Back in the early/mid 90's Wu Tang was ahead of the game as rugged and Raw MCs/producer to leading the way as fierce entrepreneurs. BAD BOY,and ROC-A-FELLA, were just Baby's in the game when it came to mass production of goods. My buddy Kool Karlo turned me on to this video regarding Serato and RZA. RZA claims he invented the digital dj system while some foreign yuppie stole his idea. Like I said Rza claims he invented the digital DJ revolution. What do you think???? You know what I think. I think you need to

Protect your neck

DJ VIN SOL

The Bay Area has so many DJ's its ridiculious. Over the years you get to know who's playing what, who's playing where and if that DJ is producing or remixing. To date Vin Sol has shared the stage with today’s best like Steve Aoki, A-trak, DJ AM, Ghostland Observatory, Flosstradamus, Yo Majesty, Prince Paul, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Mickey Avalon., Monsters Are Waiting and The Gray Kid rocking crowds from LA, Chicago and NY, while holding down weekly and monthy parties in SF. His frantic paced live sets, critically acclaimed mix tapes and dedication to the tradition of party rockin’ have him one of the most in demand DJ’s in SF and beyond. J DAVEY

The Duo out of LA have been on the underground spot light since early 2000's, but haven't yet crossed over to mainstream fame. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? They have 1 official release on UBIQUITY's Rewind comp in 2005 with talks of releasing their 1st full length album. Just like SA RA and Ubiquity nothing happened. Either way J DAVEY is mixture of R&B, New Wave, Soul, Hip Hop all using heavy synth's and chopped up drum line. If you were some of the lucky one's to get the 2 demo;s floating around then you know what I'm talking about. If not here are 2 of my favorite tracks from both demos. Mr. Mister is taken from there 1st demo in 2004/2005 and SLOW is taken from there recent one.

WHAT IS DUBSTEP

What is Dubstep? I guess it depends on who you ask. For one its a UK originated and dominated genre who also gave us Garage & Drum and Bass, and 2nd its the sound of the 21st century.. One artist dominating the scene and given the title AMBASSADOR of Dubstep goes by SKREAM... You wanna keep your ears posted to anything this guy does. Midnight Request line is the hottest track out right now. Peep this Dubstep documentary and let them tell you what Dubstep is.

Trevor Lovey

This is TREVOR LOVEY's first EP for DUBSIDED and possibly one of his best to date! LOVEY's teams with fellow fidgiter SINDEN to create the club smasher "ORGAN GRINDER" borrowing heavily from DJ SHADOW. This is followed up by 3 fire tracks making this EP a definite DUBSIDED favorite.

NEW MIX FROM VINYLRICHIE

DOWNLOAD MY NEW MIX:
HYPHY HIPSTER MIX

D'angelo ? ? ?

Lucy Pearl, quite possibly the best R&B group ever.

CHECK EM OUT . . .

Lucy Pearl was an R&B supergroup formed in 1999 as the brainchild of former Tony! Toni! TonĂ©! member Raphael Saadiq and D’Angelo. D’Angelo backed out of the group due to his schedule though. The other members of Lucy Pearl were Dawn Robinson (En Vogue) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest). They released their self-titled debut album Lucy Pearl in 2000.

After two singles, "Dance Tonight" and "Don't Mess with My Man", Dawn Robinson left and was replaced by Joi. The new line-up released the track "Without You". The group split up shortly after, releasing no other material.

The group's collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Q-Tip (reuniting the former Quest rapper with Ali Saheed Muhammad), "You", also appeared on the movie soundtrack of "Save The Last Dance".

Imagine if D'angelo was a part of this too, maybe he would stayed skinny and productive. Me miss you man . . .

BLAQSTARR AND RYE RYE

I love how the music scene right now is pretty underground. Mainstream stars are relying on the new generation to create hits. With a flood of bedroom producers popping up in the scene DJ BLAQSTARR is not one of those cats. This producer has been around the block and around the block and around the block doing hits for M.I.A to Brittney Spears (GIMMIE GIMMIE) His latest discovery goes by the name RYE RYE Ms.Ghetto fab from BALTIMORE. I love the song and the video has a backyard bootleg feel. I FUCKIN LOVE IT

WHAT UP AUTOBOT

CHICAGO's Cool Kids take it back with 808 bass drums and a classic Techno Clap with the track FlOSSIN. Dont sleep on the kids ya heard

PRO NAILS

All I have to say is CHI Town is coming through with the music right now. If your a real HIPSTER your moving to CHICAGO OR PHILLY. WARNING THIS IS A GIRL ANTHEM

SOFT TIGERS

Catchy Australian group Soft Tigers hit the scene with their feel good track “Mr Ice Cream” and gave us all a sweaty dance party but also made us crave some ice cream to cool off. They just released a 12inch (which is a must buy) that features a bunch of remixes and among them we find this remix by Chicago juke/ghetto tech dj Waxmaster and this has made us bounce around the office today. Now, we just wanna know: “What’s your favorite flavour?” Some serious Bass Booty Shaking

JUICE BOX

A few months back I went to see old school 808 bass legends Nucleus (Jam On It ) and Egyption Lover. Opening up was this KID called " JUICE BOX " all by him self with a LAP TOP and beats he made. He reminded me of a new school IGGY pop doing stage dives, rolling around the ground with old pyschadelic rave visuals and pounding beats. This kid put on a show and warmed up the coke friendly SF crowd. WE LOVE JUICE BOX
