The Duo out of LA have been on the underground spot light since early 2000's, but haven't yet crossed over to mainstream fame. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? They have 1 official release on UBIQUITY's Rewind comp in 2005 with talks of releasing their 1st full length album. Just like SA RA and Ubiquity nothing happened. Either way J DAVEY is mixture of R&B, New Wave, Soul, Hip Hop all using heavy synth's and chopped up drum line. If you were some of the lucky one's to get the 2 demo;s floating around then you know what I'm talking about. If not here are 2 of my favorite tracks from both demos. Mr. Mister is taken from there 1st demo in 2004/2005 and SLOW is taken from there recent one.
